You should take your time when you eat. You should eat slow Eating slow helps you to enjoy the flavor of your food. Eating slow is better for your digestion
. Eating fast is bad for your digestion. Eating fast can cause you to have high blood pressure. I remember when we ate lunch in High School every one would hurry and eat their lunch so they could talk with their friends
. And when you work and have a half hour lunch you always ate fast. Always in a hurry when you are on a time limit. That is why I now slow down and take my time eating.
There is no reason to be in a hurry when you are eating your Thanksgivng dinner. Take you time enjoy the meal and eat slow.

Well, we had our thanksgiving last month, and you can call me a grammar nazi if you want, but the words are: slow-ly and quickly. Fast is what you do when you don't eat at all.

A long time ago I made Thanksgiving dinners where everyone sat around the table most of the afternoon,

I used to eat fairly quickly. A few years ago when I decided I was going to lose my extra weight, I re-trained myself to learn to eat slowly. It helps a lot--a person gets full faster, and helps the digestion, too. And those big holiday meals--take it slow, for sure.
