The gammon is - a - cooking ……

So today we bought a gammon joint and at the moment it is in the pan, covered in water, happily being boiled …..
When it’s ready , it will be tender and juicy and we will have that for tea with cheesey leeky mash. I may also have some of the green tomato chutney that I made last week. I forgot to have some with my lunch !
It is a cheap but delicious meal.
It’s one of my favourites.

Sounds like an interesting meal. I had rice with potatoes steamed with poppy seeds curry and cauliflower sauted with curd and some spices(this one was so great). My mom does all the cooking.

I don't know for sure. There is still smoked turkey in the fridge and I have bags of steamed veggies in the freezer. It just depends on what Pretty wants.
