Say what?

So my sister and her family are here before we leave for the trip in the morning. My dad’s neighbor, Josh (he’s Nicaraguan; here LEGALLY for those who care), comes by and knocks on the door. The kids run to the door, open it, and Annelyn (six) looks at him and says, “Hola!” Everyone started laughing. Amyra (14) is taking Spanish, and Annelyn apparently picked up a little bit. I thought it was hysterical. I don’t know if she greets every Hispanic or Latin person she doesn’t know like that, but it was funny to witness. Annelyn is pictured at her home

Thanks! He just laughed and repeated her greeting back to her. He asked her a question in Spanish, and she answered in English so I’m not sure exactly what was said, but they had a good time chatting!
