Well, my brain stayed fried today.

Today is Thuresday. I normally do the laundry on Monday and thuresdays. But, I forgot today. Not the first time. Not a huge problem. Just a bit of a pain. I can do it tomorrow with no issues, but when I don't get a good night's sleep I end up feeling it for sure. George surprised me by spending even more time out today and going out for a second time. I got the mail and apparently, they'll be replacing the water meter in the next two weeks. So during that time, we'll be without water.

A good night's sleep should help. Usually after a bad night, I don't have a problem getting one.

They replaced our water heater and electric meter two years ago.

We replaced our water hearter a few years ago, too. It tripped the breaker, once and George was like 'nope... not doing this again'

I have never had a day to do laundry. Now I wash sheets when Anita comes and changes the sheets and sun comes to help out with the drying.

I have to have a routine because I'm doing everything around here. I don't have helpers to do things for me.

Oh my goodness, do you mean that you will be two weeks without water?

No, maybe a few hours. They just gave a two-week timeline of when they'd be in our area.

@LadyDuck Yes, it can. I don't disagree. But, it's not like I don't keep bottled water around. Say what you will, but you can't live somewhere like Florida and not be prepared for the worst case.

@kaylachan - Even a few hours without water seems an eternity.

@kaylachan I know what you mean. I fell asleep for an hour yesterday. I'll never catch up.

Not getting a good night's sleep makes it very difficult for even the normal things to get done for me. And that includes the basics. No water for a time, huh? How fun for you. I hope that doesn't happen on Monday or Thursday.

"when I don't get a good night's sleep I end up feeling it for sure." I don't have certain days to do what needs to be done I just do it when I feel like it needs to be done, but I CAN relate to your statement on the matter, I have days that way & it sucks.

I am not a creature that requires strict routine, but I need some order in my life. It makes life so much easier. I have to be flexible with some things like the dish washer, but something like laundry I can set a day around.
