Storm Claudia left her mark !

So this weekend we had the great joy of Storm Claudia ….
We have a leak in our roof !
We didn’t know
The pool of water on our cupboard let us know soon enough though
And a huge wet patch on our bedroom ceiling
The Mister has been up the ladder and in the loft this afternoon and luckily it’s something that he can fix …..he is very good like that.
So , as he is away Monday to Friday, that’s a job for next weekend then.
We are not due any more rain this week so I’m hoping that right, especially as I spend part of the week at Moms…..

But, just think, you could have a nice pool in your kitchen and could enjoy a warm pool all winter if you just helped the house fill up. 
I'm sure you'd get plenty of exercise swimming around and your grandkids would love it, too. 
I hope your weather forecast is correct and you don't have any trouble fixing the leak.

The water is coming through to the bedroom …..the kitchen is one floor down and the other side of the house, so I hope it doesn’t get bad enough to reach there !

I'm sorry about your leaks. I had to get a new roof this year; and the sticker shock was real! I'm glad your Mister is handy.
