What is Your Serenity? / myLot

Serenity, for me, are the rare, many times shifting, moments when my body has less pain, deep calm from breathing in the scent of pine and sea while drinking a hot coffee. It's a day feeling everything has clarity of the "why's" and comfort comes from within. It's depending on what life is asking; physical relief, emotional stability, financial, relationship changes or acceptance. In my tumultuous few years, it's been very confusing, disheartening, and scary. But today, it's serene thanks to the sea. She knows how to calm even in her chaos. What is your serenity? I took this photo before 8am this morning.

I spend a lot of time reading or listening to my laptop read to me. I could have spent my whole life reading if I could have earned a living doing it.

I love to read as well. It was normal to have a book read and a new one going every two days. Lately, I haven't been as much so working on that again. Do you have a main genre you like?

@DaddyEvil I'm learning to branch out and try new reads. I haven't started a new one yet since home. I've been on the go so much, but tonight, I will select something from my unread pile.

I feel a certain serenity, when I am in my bed, praying to God, as the connection seems to quieten everything else down around me, and the tumultuousness of the World then fades away, with the problems of the day too.
