I went to go and get the mail, and I ran into the neighbor who lives directly behind me and another lady walking their dogs. The other lady, not my neighbor, insisted that I go for a walk with them, and then we ran into a guy and she insisted he come with us too. The lady that wasn't my neighbor was a non-stop talker, and let me take her dog's leash and...talked non-stop. She kept saying things like how the four of us should get together and have a game night, and asking me if I was all right (I'm guessing because of my wobbly walking) and wanted me to drink out of her water bottle now and again... We walked to the back of the complex, past the mailboxes (and I had originally gone out there to get my mail) out on the dirt trail and to the dirt road, then down the road on the far side of the complex, then to the bus stop and back into the complex. I don't think that one lady stopped talking for more than a second. I know I could barely get a word in edgewise. I'm waiting a bit to make sure everyone went back in (the guy we were with parted ways with us when we got to the complex entrance by the bus stop), so that I can actually go and get my mail. When I came in, my step counter said I was 500 or 300 steps away from my goal of 6,000. I'll likely get that going to the mailboxes and back. So, I'd better go and do that.
