The Final Season of Stranger Things Isn't Very Good

I enjoyed the show "Stranger Things" for the first four seasons. There's been a multi-year gap since the last season and this 5th and final season.
The kids are grown up now but still playing as kids. Teenagers in high school. It's not believable.
They're wearing bad wigs, very bad 80's themed costumes, and they're not "cute"
anymore.
I'm only on Episode 1 but they've already used CG and the setting is unrealistic.
I will try to finish this whole season, but I'm not liking it so far.
Has anybody else watched Stranger Things? Have you seen this latest season yet?

I have not watched any episodes. I hate it when they do a show with kids, and then have a huge gap before filming more episodes. It’s too hard to keep them looking as young as they are supposed to be. It also seems like too many writers don’t know how to properly end a series.

We just finished watching what's available at the moment . . . oh my gosh I totally agree with you. That wasn't my 80s 
. . . I don't know who were their 80s consultants 
. Yes, we laugh about their bad hair and all. We'll watch it when the rest of it comes out, but yah, it hasn't held our attention like the previous seasons.
