I went...

The Salvation Army building is three or four blocks away from where I live, so I walked down there. Thankfully when I did, the door was open to the office, and I went in. The lady I was supposed to talk to about bell ringing wasn't there, but I did talk to another couple of ladies, and one of them got me signed up for their food program, which works for me. I was given a ticket and told to bring it with me when the food day came. If I remember right, they took my number and the lady I'm supposed to speak to will call me...or I'm supposed to call her? One of the reasons I'm feeling a bit confused right now is that I walked home, stopped and chatted with one of the maintenance guys, and then my phone rang. I had forgotten about the phone appointment with the nutritionist that I was supposed to have. I walked the rest of the way home talking to the lady, and she talked about a million and one things and asked me questions and just went on and on and on about "You can take this class or that class"...On top of all that she talked fast--I guess she was trying to cram as much info into the conversation as she could. "You could take this kind of class, or this kind of class...do you have Zoom? What do you think about "this"? What do you think about "that"? "I'm sending a link on your phone--Now scroll down to this and click that--oh, you're not on the website?" (she never said to click the link right then!) And etc., etc., etc.... Sheesh. Now that I'm off of the phone with her, I'll do what I was going to do before I got the call--which was walk to the mailbox. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Yeah, and she talked really fast, too, which didn't help.
