Saturday Ramblings

Happy Saturday Everyone! thankfully it's not as cold as yesterday and it's currently hovering around the freezing mark. Compared to yesterday, it almost feels warm I thought my day was off to a good start until I tried to turn on the tv. A big fat nothing. I changed the batteries in the remote and still nothing. Of course my daughter isn't home so I have no tech support. Hopefully she'll know what's up but I have a sneaky feeling that it's done and we'll need a new one. Not something I want to get just as we're hitting the holidays and after all the "big" Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. But, I'm embarrassed to say that I can't live without my tv. Aside from that, nothing much is going on. How's your Saturday going?

As I cannot live without my Internet, I have to have a good working PC I call mine Hank fondly and glad that lately he has been behaving himself,

How old is the TV? My ;new one lasted only about 3 years. Luckily I had an extended warranty. The TV is on all of the time. My Saturday was OK.

There are still some sales going on. I hope you find a nice one. I couldn't live without mine either. The internet went down for a just a few minutes Friday morning and I was getting a bad feeling. It was only out 4 minutes and cycled back around and was back on. Thank goodness. Get a Roku. They are great. I have a Westinghouse one.

Hope you don't need a new one.

You might have tremors being without TV until your daughter returns. I hope it's a siimple fix and doesn't involve a new one.

I can’t live with my TV either, so you are not alone. Hopefully, if you have to get a replacement you can find a good deal.

With it being the holiday season you might find a good deal on t.v.s what kind of t.v. is it? You do know that they have physical buttons to do basic t.v. things. Most of us don't use them since remotes exist, but it's worth a shot.

Have you tried turning the television on using the switch built into the television itself? Your remote may be burned out. Find the buttons on the television. The button on the far left should turn it on and off. Pretty always wants some noise in the background no matter what else she's doing. As long as both bedroom doors are closed, I can't hear it. I don't want any sounds when I'm working but she isn't me. *shrug*
