Got a lie in ….all activities are cancelled ! / myLot

So the alarm went off early this morning ….just as I forced myself to leave the warmth and comfort of my bed we had a text ….football has been cancelled due to snow. Yay ! The alarm was reset for an hour later….. More snooze time …. Alarm goes off and we get up, washed and dressed and venture downstairs …..fire on …. The Mister goes to wake Granddaughter up to get ready for dance and she sleepily says….its cancelled ! We know nothing of this so had to ring Mom who says ….Yes, it’s cancelled, she should have told you last night ….its good it’s been cancelled because the time had changed from 10 am to 8.30 am….so we would have missed it anyway ! So I think that we are having a lazy day at home today ….. …bring on the coffee and Baileys , the new Harlan Coben, and turn that fire up … That will do me til the Grandkids appear ….and want to be fed. Happy Saturday everyone.

I'd be having a talk with granddaughter about passing on important information! She should have known to tell you anyway! Lazy, lazy!

To be honest it was probably her Mom who should have told us , I am not totally sure she told the Granddaughter to tell us. You may have mentioned it ……but that’s ok …..mention it again x

@Traceyjayne Maybe but it the granddaughter knew about the change, she should have told you anyway. She's old enough to know you'd need to know about the change.
