It's back.

I went outside a little after 1:45 and went to see if I saw the man's car, but it wasn't there yet. I saw that the dog next door was out, so I said hello to her, and then started talking to her "dad" that came out. Soon after they went back in, the In-laws of the guy whose dog I walked came.
The man handed me my phone, then asked if I could watch dogs in my apartment, which I said that I couldn't. It sounded like he's found another dog gig for me. I appreciated that.
I was a little concerned that when he handed me my phone, it was damp. Of course, it had been outside for x amount of days, I just figured they might dry it off?
Right now my phone is charging. I don't want to really mess with it until it's fully charged, although I'll admit I've already tried to do a couple of things.
Since I had my keys again, (which were attached to my phone) I went and got the mail from the last few days.
There was a Christmas card, something for someone who used to live in my apartment (and I see the return address is not far away--they didn't know the people had moved?) a reminder of a mammogram I need to have, something regarding Medi-Cal for kids that I don't have, a "Sponsor-versary" card from an organization through which I sponsor a child, store ads, a vitamin catalog, and yet another card about a lawsuit against the company that owns the apartment complex I live in that I'm 99% sure I don't qualify for.
Hopefully when my phone fully charges, it will work correctly.
Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

I didn't know you had lost your phone with keys attached. I'm glad you got it back. Your mail sounds as interesting as mine. I take it most of it found its way to the recycle bin.

Haven't gotten around to doing that yet, but most of it is.
