Spring is the time when lime grows so well. there are 3 types of lime grown in bengal. Patilebu is the common lime which is used in lentils and other food. There is kagji variety which are used in vegetables. We had a neighbour grow Lime here in a Greenhouse It grew really well And it tasted really good

Mom planted lime trees from seeds against the back of our house when I was growing up. She always covered them with sheets to keep them from freezing in the cold weather. Have you tried growing any of them?

I tried in the pots in balcony. I failed. Whenever the leaves of the limes plant came out, birds and flies ate them. I think they grow better in gardens
