So the next Birthday treat that I have claimed has come from Hobbycraft.
Sign up and get one of their loyalty cards, let them know when your Birthday is and you get £5 to spend.
There is always plenty in there that I would get if money were no object , however the last two years I have got the same ….and this year I added to the collection.
I have got two glass bottles, they have a green hue and have a cut glass appearance, making them very pretty.
I now have 6 altogether. The 4 I already had are on top of the cabinet in the kitchen / dining room. However , now I have these new ones I think I shall put them on the window ledge in the living room. Two sets of 3 bottles I think. I think they will look nice there. I’m not really one to have lots of Knick knacks about the place ….they make things look untidy and need dusting ! But I think the bottles will look great.
Anyway, they were £3.50 each so cost £7, but I had £5 off voucher, meaning I only had to pay £2. Result I think.

As long as nobody else sees them, you don't need to keep them dusted.

They sound nice. Now I'm older and have no-one who wants my treasures, I'm a bit sorry I have so many.

@Traceyjayne The boys live miles away so can't take them even if they'd want them which they don't. And I haven't found anyone else that might like them.

That’s sad …..no family or friends that would like them ?

They do sound pretty and add a nice bit of decoration. Can't go wrong with getting your birthday discount and using it for something pretty.
