I noticed that a lot of people had this phone (see picture) up for sale on eBay. I was sent one that I never used, so I thought I'd try to sell it.
After doing a bunch of web searches trying to figure out all kinds of things about this silly phone so that I could put it in my description, I tried to start the auction, and got a message in red which said, (to this effect):
"You cannot sell this item on eBay because it has a kill switch."
Huh?
Okay...then why are dozens of other people selling the same phone?
Whatever. I'll just find something else around here to sell....Lord knows I've got enough things.
Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

While the phone might look the same, they aren't all built the same.

It's something in the phone that, if a person loses their phone/it gets stolen, they can remotely render it inoperable. How they're supposed to do that, I haven't a clue.

If that phone was sent as part of any government funded program it might flag that on eBay, but you should be able to sell it on marketplace, or craigslist.

I have never seen that message on eBay before Stacey
But the phone is a well known enough phone.
$40 maybe,

Sorry to learn that you could not sell the item on eBay.
