What is it trying to do?

While I was sitting here, I started to hear this rattling noise at my window. When I looked up, I could see a bird flying to and away from my window--I'm guessing that it's pulling on something that falls back and taps against my window, but I can't think of what, and the blinds are partially closed. I got up and tried to look a minute ago, but of course the bird saw me and flew away for the moment. I'm wondering if I put my shoes on and go around the corner a bit if I can tell what it's trying to do. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
