So the Grandson was skating with his friends earlier , so The Mister went to collect him. Much the same as his sister a few hours earlier, in he drifts …….carrying his x box …..or whatever they are called these days ….. He managed a hello…..then, upstairs he went …. Won’t see him till the morning now ….. First time in goodness knows how long that they haven’t squabbled ! Are they growing up …… I fear so …..why can’t they stay babies forever !

At least it doesn't sound like they're much trouble.

No, they are no bother really. It’s lovely having them to stay over ….and as they are getting older I know soon they will be out with their friends instead of coming here, so I’m enjoying it whilst I can

Would you really want them to stay babies forever? I'd get tired of that... I LIKE watching kids grow up, become responsible for themselves... But not the moving on with their lives and forget me part.

@Traceyjayne Pretty started getting bossy when she was still little. She thought she knew better than I did what we needed to do... She was funny back then. Now, it's annoying.

I wonder, what is the perfect age to want to keep children at…

I don’t know …..in my job I’m used mainly to 3 to 7 year old …..that probably where I’d keep them, inquisitive and funny…..

Not with their phones and games etc ……they have to have them surgically removed I think. On a Saturday, after football and dance classes we take them out somewhere.
