Busy busy day yesterday / myLot

I knew yesterday would be busy, with 3 dr appointments for my husband. I knew it would be a long, boring day. Just a lot of driving and a lot of sitting and waiting, waiting, waiting on the drs. It irks me how you can't be no more then 15 minutes late for your dr appointments but they can take 30 to 45 minutes just to call your name for a room. I don't understand either how driving, sitting and waiting can drain you! Once at home we were in bed quite a bit earlier then we normally do and then we got up at the usual time, had breakfast and then ran a few errands. We were home by 10:30 am and laid down and had a nap. I woke up before he did, 5 hours later!! I'm thinking I will probably be up late now.

i also wonder that; they can be late and we can't. i hope your husband isn't seriously ill. all the best to both of you

I completely agree. They have to reschedule if I’m 10 minutes late, but they’ll keep me waiting over an hour. It’s their fault too since they overbook assuming there will be cancellations. That’s their fault.
