Today has been a bit rough. I've had a headache all day. George is happy at least, but he'd been asking me about something we were involved in. I don't know if he fully grasps the concept of a video call, because he's never grasped the concept of technoloical advancment. He thinks everything's done onthe phone. But I need the laptop for this one, because... it has to be a video call, and he can't be tempted to use the phone like well a phone. Dealing with the courts is no joke. and I know if you ignore a sommons, well that's bad. so we'll appear by video. Because we have to.
I hate zoom. I really hate zoom. But at least it has a mac version on the app store so we're good there. I guess I'll launch it and log in. It'll make things easier since George and I get up at odd times.
Other then that, the day's gone pretty smoothhe... hopefully, We can get this over and done with.

My parents especilly during the height of Covid, had their doctors appointments through Zoom. I am not sure if they are still doing all of their appointments that way now.

For me, it's a role pain in the butt. Not only do I have to make sure I'm on time, I have to make sure George's in frame, while keeping him calm, and keeping background noise down. Especially if he 'dances' and it makes a noise.

Well at least zoom makes it possible for you not to have to appear in person. Sorry about your headache. Some days do suck.

With George's stroke in-person would actually be better. He vaguly understands the concept of a video call, but wants me to handle everything. We missed a zoom appointment yesterday because I lost the paper with the number on it, My biggest concern would be his afasia.

We all have this kind of day.
Zoom is something we use in the office so I'm familiar with it but like you, I'm no fan. Same thing with MS Teams.
