No bus

I went to two supermarkets today that are a block away from each other. Instead of taking the bus, I decided to just walk there because it was a nice day. But even if I wanted to take the bus that wouldn’t be possible because the whole time I was walking to the store (around fifty minutes to an hour) the bus never appeared.
When it was time to head home I decided to take the bus since I had two heavy bags to carry. I waited a little bit but no bus came. I checked the bus time website to see when the next bus would arrive but no info came up. As I was about to leave the bus stop, I saw my bus going in the other direction. Since it was only a few stops from the last stop I knew I wouldn’t have to wait very long for the bus. Decided to just wait for it. After waiting bit and no sign of the bus I checked the bus time website again and it said the next bus will arrive in thirty five minutes. That didn’t seem right but I didn’t wanna wait anymore so I left. After walking some blocks and turning the corner I noticed my bus making a turn. It was the same bus that I originally saw going the other way. The damn website clearly didn’t give me the correct info, which is weird because it’s in real time.
My mom called and said that her friend was on his way to my house to drop off some things she gave him so I waited for him on the corner. Of course he was stuck in traffic so my wait was half an hour I think but it was still better than spending about forty minutes walking to the house with heavy bags.

Wouldn’t want to walk a long time carrying heavy bags.

Could they have discontinued that bus stop? We have several bus stops that buses no longer stop at anymore.

Nope. That bus stop is active. Usually the bus time website is pretty accurate. I don’t know why it didn’t give the correct info today.

@lovebuglena It could be a time delay. Or a connection error with your phone giving you misimformation, then. It just seems odd you saw the bus at stops near where you were, but not where you were.

@kaylachan if I wouldn’t have left the bus stop, I would’ve caught the bus. But because the website said 35 minutes away, I decided not to wait anymore. I thought maybe that bus would be out of service and not returning my way.

Assuming I find one. Gonna look at one today. It’s a co-op and not a condo though. The train is about 23 minutes away. Here is about 27. But there is a bus close to the apartment.
