How often does rent increases in your area?

I wonder why some poor countries especially in africa have no stable rent control measures. Landlords increase rent almost every couple of years and it has become an habit that must be put in check. Does this thing happen in your area or country too?

Does this thing happen in your area or country too? Aye and it happens in Middlesbrough too. It was frozen for a while during and after COVID That ended And landlords in the UK started hiking rents up again They can do it yearly, or they could do Saw something on the telly about new laws. But if they want to charge tenants more, they will If I had flats to rent, I would charge what ai want, simple as that
