Yes, even more. In June prices will be going up more. Due to tariff, drought and disease. That will be on beef, seafood, olives and olive oil, citrus fruit, coffee, eggs and processed foods. Buy extra when the prices are lower. Freeze when possible, or buy frozen. Packaging is used on things we don't realize.

Yes, food prices are climbing and they will no doubt go higher. We have been noticing when we drive by various restaurants during peak hours there are often not many cars at all. Drive thru lanes for fast food restaurants are often just one car, or none at all. More restaurants will close. They constantly have to raise prices and it’s reached the stage in many places that people just don’t,or can’t,pay the prices anymore.

Yes, very true. We enjoy delivery of our fast food. If we enjoy certain items like coffee and tea we need to stock up.

@MarieCoyle .......we have local places that are very good and that bad in price. It's a nice treat that we enjoy.

@celticeagle We don't do fast food, it's just way too costly for what a person gets. I'm glad you can do that if you like it.

Prices are constantly climbing here. With the ever increasing cost of gasoline, it just worsens things. I typically keep a really well stocked pantry, but the items are not as fully stocked as I would like them to be simply because of the inflationary costs on groceries.

And so we need to outsmart them and stock up on items we use a lot while prices are lower than they will soon be.

Our prices do seem to have steadied a bit which is a good thing.
