Yes, we went to AmVets, and Tom was sworn in as a 3 year Trustee. BUT...did not have Wicker Wheel Chicken. Sadly the man who runs the restaurant's wife passed away last week, and so we got chicken, Mac n Cheese and Green Beans from PoFolks. It was okay.
Monday is Memorial Day. Not sure if we are going there or not.
We both fixed a box for supper today.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day Weekend.

The Wicked Wheel is a restaurant here. Haven't been in it in years, but it used to have the decor of bikers. The seats at the bar were motorcycle seats, and there were bikes in the restaurant for decor. I am thinking there was a 57 chevy in there as well. Outside they have a big barn where they have concerts and Smoker Grills

@Ghostlady Makes more sense. Your post said Wicker Wheel and I thought that was some kind of recipe. I could see that being a fun venue for a meal out.

Wait. WHAT!!???! Y’all still have a Po Folks?!?!?! Dang I miss that restaurant.
