Okay, so I am at the caravan right now ....I have my phone, no iPad, no computer, no landline ... We are one side of some woods which does play around with signals sometimes.... I have been trying to pay gas and electricity bills for a few days ....using my phone ....no can do ! Today , I took the bull by the horns and decided enough was enough and rang the company .... Oh my days ....what a faff .... I do wish we could go back to the good old days , when you got a bill through the post and sent a cheque to pay it All this technology stuff is all well and good but hey ! If it doesn't work it's a real pain in the derriere ! What ' old fashioned 'way of doing something do you miss ,?

The Postal Mail. In the Philippines everything is paperless, and we don't sending cards anymore even to friends abroad, because of video calls, and other communication app.

That sounds frustrating, I have all my bills on autopay so I don't have to deal with it etc.

Doing everything online was supposed to be quicker and easier but mostly it's the exact opposite.

@Traceyjayne If older people can't keep up with the technoogy, at least to some degree, they are really behind the eight-ball.

I like the old fashioned way of calling a company and talking to a person in the US.

Even if we manage to get through to an actual person on the telephone they are not usually in the UK and English is never their first language ! Otherwise I would agree, that's how I would prefer to do things too.
