Please stop inventing things .....we have enough stuff now !

I have just seen an amusing debate on FB saying just this ....
Surely we have enough stuff now, so why don't people just stop inventing things !
It does seem to me that sometimes people are trying to reinvent the wheel ....
You know, we have something, yet, they can't leave it alone ....they have to keep improving it or updating it....
Sometimes less is more .....
If it does the job already ....just leave it !
Anyway, what do you lovely MyLotters think ...?
Do we have enough things now ....?
Is there anything left to invent ?

@Traceyjayne All the gadgetry just isn't needed. It seems to me that it has just dumbed down people and led youngsters to think that socials and games is what life is all about. I'm so glad I'm not growing up now. All the research money ought to be channelled into curing diseases etc.

There will always be new items invented. And we will continue to get more and more complicated and advanced gadgetry.

I don't know, but anything that is too much is bad.
If change is for the better why not, but if it has a bigger effect that harms others, I don't want anything new.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I say yes, we have enough and don't need anything else and then something else comes along and I say yes!! I need that
