The Descent of Intelligence

During the 'Cold War' the Soviet Union and America were in battle to produce the brightest population. The pressure was on, children pushed as far as possible, constantly tested to maintain the highest standards. Children were streamed into bright class, second bright, average, and dunce. This was done so as to encourage the bright students and keep the average and below average intellects from distracting. This produced a population of highly educated people who were not easily controlled. In the United States, the evidence is in the constant protests over civil rights, the war in Vietnam, and confrontations over lies and misrepresentations. Due to the challeges on power it was decided to cease streaming and produce a population of below average intellects which could be herded as sheep. This dumbing has taken the 'average' I.Q. of 100 in 1960 to the 'average' of 85 in 2000. In the 1960s many children had I.Q.s over 130 and so special classes were created. In that year, having an I.Q of 85 meant you were 'dunce'. Another factor in the descent of intelligence is the replacement of real life with screen time. This is why the population of stupid people has increased, and intelligence diminished.
