It started yesterday and will last 10 days.
Yesterday was a therapist appointment.
Today is visiting with Mother-in-Law
Tomorrow is playing cards with my friends
Friday is horse racing at Churchill Downs
Saturday is a birthday party
Sunday is a massage appointment
Monday is a psychiatrist appointment
Tuesday is an orthopedist appointment to see about my knees
Wednesday is mother-in-law again
Thursday is cards again
I prefer open days with no obligations but I sure booked myself up this time.

I can't handle a schedule like that. Good luck.

I don’t like a lot of days filled with things either. I can get overwhelmed if I get too many days in a row with things planned. I think the only reason I could go on vacation back in November was that the doctor gave me a steroid pack. Once I was off that, it was like my energy just dissipated.

On the positive side, it’s a nice mix of social time, appointments, and a few enjoyable things like cards and Churchill Downs, but there’s definitely not much breathing room in between. Hopefully a couple of those days feel more like “easy” visits rather than obligations so it doesn’t all stack up.

Yeah, I’m booked up through Sunday. Yuck. Retired people aren’t supposed to be this busy.
