Busy bees.

It’s a great source of joy and pleasure to see bees coming to visit my lavender bushes and other purplish flowers. It’s fascinating watching the heavy buzzers hovering just at the face of a flower before tunnelling their way in. It seems so wrong that something as unaerodynamic looking as a bumble bee can move so nimbly.

I don’t know how I feel about bees. I don’t want to be stung by one

@looeyville Garden bees are fine so long as you let them be(e). It’s wasps that I fear. And hornets. I was stung once by an African hornet. Never again.

Yes, insects are amazing. I worry about the bees. We are killing them off.

We don't have bumble bees here, at least I don't think we do. I enjoyed seeing them when we were overseas.

We like the Bees in the garden as well
It's great to see them in quite large numbers
They are indeed very nimble movers
