Photographing roses

Vince has been asked to judge a photo competition at the West Australian (WA) Rose Championships. The photo competition is only a very small part of the show which is the highlight of the WA Rose Society.
Before the show is held, Vince will give a short talk at one of their meetings about how best to display and photograph a rose. The photo shows him doing a bit of a trial run at our friend’s house. The wife is president of the society.
They are getting ready to photograph a bloom with a black cloth as a background.

That sounds like a fun assignment. You will have to be sure to tag along and assist or just take pics and show us the beautiful roses.
