This song celebrates the upcoming birthday of Paul McCartney, who’ll be 84. This song is normally a top ten; however, there’s just too many songs for the top ten, so here it is in the alphabetical list. Dance along!
Getting Closer (Wings)
This was from Wings’ swan song, Back to the Egg. I loved the way the album label was: side one was “Sunny Side Up” and side two was “Over Easy.” 
Although this song, lyrically, loses points for the cheesy reference of a loved one as “my salamander” (huh??? Well, do remember Sir Paul was arrested in Japan for marijuana possession around this time! 
), but it’s still a song that I’ll play six or seven times when it comes up in rotation on the iPod.
