Does anyone else have the problem of just driving along listening to the local station with the kids in the car and all of the sudden their is this song on that is sexually explicit? I am soooo sick of this happening. I know for a fact one of the stations I am reffering to is played on many of the school busses. I am not talking about four letter words, I am talking about some guy singing about how he likes it from behind or something similar like that. How can we fix this? Am I just a prude?

No, you are not prude. That is when you turn off the radio, or change the channel... However, Most of the time hearing that stuff does not effect the children.... I listened to rowdy raunchy music on the bus and in class alot... The children see is a giggle haha funny, and if that is the only way they are rebelling is by listening to no no music it is alot better then other things. However, Most stations should at least before they play songs like that, at hours they know children are listening, they should have to state something before the song plays. This song may maintain mature content it is 4 minutes long, or something would be the best way to do it. In my opinion... tiny disclaimers. - DNatureofDTrain

That does sound like a good idea. I disagree about it not having an effect on them though. I do change the stations, but often it is too late.

Children should not be subject to such music. The people that drive the busses should not be playing such music either. You should report it to the bus company and if you do not get any resolve from this, you should go to the school board. They hire the bus company to transport the children to and from school.
