It's a beautiful December day in Southern CA. But it's windy. Great for kite flying and sailing, but not so great for bicycling or juggling. It's Sunday and our daily plans got cancelled due to wind. So now I have a free day ahead of me, but I'm sure I'll come up with something interesting to do.

I was raised in S.CA. It was so beautiful way back then. It seems to be quit crowed now. And the freeways are so heavy with traffic. But, hey, if it is beautiful now and you love it, great. Enjoy the day.

You are right. It is very crowded. Thank goodness I work at home a lot and don't have to be on the freeways at rush hour.
But there is plenty of beauty here still. You just have to look for it. The ocean is always magnificent. Flowers bloom year round here. And I never have to worry about getting snowed in.

My youngest Daughter lives in SCA. I was just out there for a month in the Spring time. Reminds me of southern Spain. Now that you mention the wind that was also a common occurance in Spain as well.
