i think clothes matter but for the first impression, eventually its the substance rather than the appearence.

Clothes matter since we fall..Before we became sinners, we didn't need it. But, now we really need it. Don't believe to the first impression. In our sinful world, we could create the first impression. But, the real substance has created day by day..Time will show the truth...:)

........the real substance behind - the head scarf
yes, true. the real substance proves to be the winner in the long run. i have a friend, a very insipid looking, who wears hijab, head scarf, out of her own choice, yet full of undefeatable knowledge, one can hardly imagine of. she is a wonder, full of substance. .......and how can i ignor baron arthur, whom i have never seen, nor do i intent to, but his knowledge and way of looking at things make me discover thing every single day!!! thank you myLot.

i think it's very important especially if it's the first meeting. when a person is neatly dressed, it will show that he/she have respect for herself/himself and the person they are going to meet. i feel that the most important thing is not overdress/underdress, just dress to the occasion and in something you are most comfortable in

that's nice thinking, even i believe in the same. clothes really matter in todays' perpective. however, i do believe, substance is more important but for the long run.
