So i'll be performing my first wedding on the 16th.

I'm a bit nervous, i'm not wanting to flub my lines or anything. Luckily it's for my best friend's wedding, it's going to be them, myself, my boyfriend and another best friend of ours and her fellow. Small, small ceremony, as far as i know there isn't a location yet either. I'm assuming that we're going to find a place on the Oregon coast with a really great view, pull over, do the ceremony, sign things, then go get liquored up. XP It's rather to know i'm officially ordained. XD

Woo hoo! You go girl! :) It's your friend's day...so do you best and take your time... :) Look at this as an opportunity to find possible future jobs (to perform more weddings). :) Good luck and have fun.

That'd be kind of cool to make money doing weddings for people, but i am NOT religious and am not familiar with traditional wedding ceremonies and what to say. :( The one i'm doing on the 16th has a very non religious vibe to it, it's about the cardinal directions and asking them for blessings on the union. It's actually a rather pretty ceremony, at the end i tie their hand to the others and go into how the cord represents their vows to each other.
