I watched Montel this morning. There were parents on the show crying because of their kids behavioral problems. Most of the kids were under 10 years old. They were fighting their parents, threatning to kill them and even threatning to kill others at school. A few of the kids had a mixture of mental problems, such as bipolar disorder and ADHD. Some were autistic. Some actually got put out of school for being so violent with other kids & teachers. They showed video clips and it seemed pretty bad. We're talking about hitting their parents with bats or just about anything they could get their hand on, kicking, screaming, you name it. One child even set his mothers bed on fire while she was asleep in it. The parents complained that they can't have a normal life because of the things that thier children are doing. It puts a strain on their family relationships. They said that they don't know what else to do. They fear for their lives and their child's life. How far would you go to solve this problem? Would you consider putting the child in a facility like some of the parents were suggested to do?
