Which italian city do you prefer?

I live in Parma, in Italy, and when someone is asking me for a trip in Italy, I give always these suggestions for the cities to visit, in order of priority: Rome, Venice, Florence. But there are othe rsmaller cities that are suggestable: Verona, Naples (not so small), Bologna, Siena. Avoid Milan, it is not nice. What do you think? Have you neaver been in these cities?
