What knowledge do you have on the Australian generation? Has it impacted you in someway? If you are from overseas have you even ever heard of the term Stolen generation?

I hear a lot of negatives about the stolen generation and no-one talks about the positives, there were a lot of aboriginal children given good lives and given an education and made something of them selves.. I have even seen some of those complaining about the situation which I don't understand as I don't see them giving up their privledges they have earnt from the experience.... I see white children today that I think would be better off with intervention and it does happen, I wasn't there when the stolen generation happened so I can't say that it was fully wrong or right but I just wish they would show both sides of the coin and if people are going to ask for compensation then are they going to give back any benefits....I think all children regardless of colour or race deserve the best that can be offered.
