At what age do you think a child should no longer be breastfeed?

I have heard it is best to do it for the first year but some mothers go beyond that.I could only do it for 4 monthsI have heard of a mom breastfeeding her child at age 4. What do you think of this?

Well, I think when they are one that is definatly long enough,it really depends on your body, My sister on did it for 6 months, she couldn't do it any longer.

Same here.I think just doing it at all is benifical.

I did both of my kids for an entire year, on the dot. I think once they are walking they are to big.
