Do you drink a lot of water? If not you should! Drinking water helps hydrate not only the lips but the rest of the body as well, so that would take care of any dry skin to. I've tried so many brands of chapstick and non of them work! The best thing though is blistex. Good luck, I know it's no fun because I have the same problem!

They say to drink AT LEAST 8 glasses that are 8 oz per day. I just sit at the computer with a big mug and fill it back up whenever I empty it. You should really try to drink more. If you drink a lot of soda it strips the moisture from your lips. So, cut back on soda if you drink it.

Burt's Bees Lip Balm - Great product for chapped lips.
A lot of Balms don't work for me either, but I have found one that does: Burt's Bees. That stuff is great! Here's their website if you want to check it out: www.burtsbees.com/ They have a bunch of other great products too.

I have the same problem Simply. I'm constantly putting on lip balm of chapsticks. Recently I've been using something called Carmex that my mom had. It seems to work, it has this healing stuff in it that heals the chappedness. I suggest trying that out.

Drink more water. Don't lick your lips. As for creams have you tried blistex, I mean the crea kind, not the balm. It is medicated. It also feels cool going on which makes your lips tingle.

Yea, I know what you mean, mine get very chapped in the winters too... but what I try to do is not lick my lips (which just makes it worse) and use blistex often. It works better than nothing, but doesn't really solve the whole problem. I hope we find something here that works!

i used to have this kind of problem. vaseline seemed to do the trick for me though. i used to have chapped lips too and since i find vaseline kinda oily i use it generously over my mouth/lips only at night. during the day i just apply the minimal amount on the areas where my lips are dry. now my lips arent that dry anymore and it's no longer chapped;)

You must go out and buy Carmex lip balm. Inexpensive and works miracles. I swear by it! Get some today! You will not regret it! Let me know how you like it.
