Did you hear how they arrested a man who had it all planned to put grenades in the trash cans in cherryvale mall in Rockford, Illinois? He had his escape route planned too. He was a lone worker, influenced into his terrorist views through the internet. He's been under surveillance since an FBI informant heard him say how he'd like to commit terrorism at the mall. When he attempted to purchase the grenades, they picked him up. He was going to do this in the crowded mall on friday Dec 22.

That is really scary! I wish we were able to trust people more. I really hate all the negativity that is reported on the news and in the newspaper/internet sites. What happened to being happy with your life and making the most of it? Why do people feel that they have to hurt themselves and others? I just don't understand it!

This is just so sad. I really hate terrorists. They don't have any compassion for other people. They are so selfish and self centered. I know it's wrong to hate other people but this is the way that I feel. I have not lost anyone because of terrorism but I could imagine other people's losses.

No, I didn't hear about this. That is crazy!! What makes people do this in their own country? It is bad enough in another one. You can't trust anyone anymore.
