Can you plz tell me what is a 3gp format and which software do i use to play it???

3gp format is a multimedia format for mobile format. You can use Quick Time 6 or higher and 3GP player from http://www.reganam.com/ to play that.
You also can convert 3gp to another video format using video converter program

3gp is a video format for mobile phone. If you record something from your mobile phone, it will be a .3gp.
You can view an 3gp videos by windows media player classic or Real One Player. Please check the site;
