Looking for Sewing Patterns

Does anyone know any place on-line I can down load some patterns for sewing for free? I have a bunch of material that was given to me. It is flanel with happy faces all over it. Very cute. I thought it would make some nice pj's. Outside of Grade8 Home Economics Clas I have never sewed but how hard can it be? Besides...they are pj's If they aren't perfect my cats won't mind! lol
