My son was found to be suffering from kidney trouble in February 2004 and he was on dialysis as we couldn't afford kidney transplant but which was very urgent. My husband was to donate his kidney but upon examination, he too was suffering from the same ailment so both of them were undergoing dialysis. We didn't know then where to get money. Then my son had the necessary kidney transplant August 31 same year, both of them were in the hospital at the same time as my husband underwent throat operation for the dialysis. I really didn't know what to do. The kidney transplant was successful and my son is now working but with all the expensive medications which we can hardly afford with all the debts that we incurred for the kidney transplant and dialysis of my husband. As we really could not cope up with the dialysis expenses for my husband, he died last May leaving many financial problems as the salary of my son who underwent the kidney transplant is not sufficient to make both ends meet so they say. I have an older son, married but no child yet, but he himself is suffering from not just an ordinary ailment. Money is really a big problem much more because I also suffer from high blood pressure and somewhat heart ailment. If you are on my shoes, what will you do?
