Fewer and fewer actual questions?

Have you noticed fewer and fewer actual questions and discussions and more 'preaching' or standing on the podium teaching us all about things that often aren't really all that freaking thrilling to read about anyways?
I thought mylot was supposed to be about starting discussions, asking questions, etc. and not getting a free soap box to stand in the public square to show your intelligence level.
Anyone else getting sick of this?

YEs between "soap box" discussions and quick answer discussions, I find it very hard to find things to post about somedays. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of great discussions out there, but they are getting "clouded over" by those other discussions. We need to work together to get the good discussions back on the top!!!

LOL...you are a hoot! I usually pass up topics like those you just described. Lately it seems that it does take a lot more searching for new and interesting topics. More topics are repeated. The words are changed but the topic is the same. Boring. Ah well. Glad that I spend my time doing other things as well.

lol... what can I say... I love to talk like the rest and definitely love to let the world know what I think.. but sheesh.. mylot is supposed to be a place to have discussions, not an encyclopedia or a blog of your thoughts on things! If you want to talk about your thoughts on things... put it in questions form! lol

I agree with you, sometimes for me it´s hard to find some good discussions. I continue to find that old silly discussions and a lot of narratives. And then I have to respond to them, I can´t find good ones. Maybe next year we have more good features that increase mylot quality.

I have not been on MyLot long enough to really answer, BUT I can say there are a lot of non-sense discussions. How are you supposed to respond to "What do you want for Christmas?" Thaht's just silly. I have also noticed some people posting news articles instead of their own words. This is a bit discouraging because I came here not really to make money, but to read and respond to intelligent discussions.
