epson picture mate

my epson picture mate was not used for apxmtly 4 months. i have just recently purchaed a new pkg of paper and ink cartirdge. my pictures containing orange are coming out yellow and if i try black and white they come out gray w/a green/blue tint/ what can i do to correct this? i did put in the old ink cartridge and i had the same results. any ideas??
