How to Stop people from Gossiping ?

I don't think you can. My logic is when people are gossiping about me just make it good,my real life is boring so make the gossip good and exciting! At least their leaving someone else alone while their talking about me.

That can be a very hurtful experience, people can actually get others to believe anything, I have been through it and in my experience half a large work place stopped talking to me because an ex friend told a huge lie that some believed....but she got found out in the end....but it still hurts...
