Future of XML

how do you predict the future of XML as a technology?? these day you can see almost every implemenation in XML.. like web services, SOA , BPEL etc.. do you think it will rock the world and will starve the restof technology in the web-world??

I think XML as a technology is best and will be best till something excitins as XML will come.Today there are count less no of applications using XML.I think XML will have long life.What do you say on this.
