I lost a few of my points, but I figured out why they were taken back. I had responded to several discussions I discovered were plagiarized and stolen from other websites. I then reported the finding to myLot admin, and eventually they deleted the accounts. Then I noticed the points (equivalent to those posts) were taken away. I wonder if maybe some of the discussions you responded to belonged to members that had their accounts deleted?

I'm having the same problem. After making a few posts yesterday, my rating was 4 less than it was yesterday morning. I've read in other posts that it's because mylot is going thru and deleting bad dicussion questions which includes answers we've made to them. If that's the case, I don't think it's fair. If you do a lot of posting on mylot, you get down to where it's hard to find quality posts to respond to. Especially back when I started, mylot was full of junk posts, but even then I tried to write quality answers. I did it in good faith, as a lot of us do now, and I don't think it's fair for mylot to lower scores when we didn't do anything wrong.

I haven't been losing points, I jsut havent been getting them . . .I'll respond to a discussion and I won't receive credit for it :(
