Ive seen alot of people asking for ways to promote their site for free or inexpensive ways so I decided to let you know how I promote mine. 1) Link Swapping: its the easiest and free to do. Try to link to sites that are related to your sites content or service. 2) Traffic exchanges: What this does is help your Alexa rating which in turn helps your site placement into the other search engines. 3) Add a blog to your site, write about things that are related to your line of business or interests 4) Whenever you visit other blogs or forums always include your link into your signature or wherever possible. These are free link back without giving a link to them. This also Helps your search engine placement. 5) Pixel Advertisements: this is a very cheap way to get another link back to your site. Most of them are around 5 to 25 dollars and are usually good for 3 to 5 yrs depending on which one you use. Make sure you Shop around and find the right one. 6) Submit articles to be published to the many different article sites out there, you get a high quality link back to your site and in some cases they pay you as well. 7) submit your site for web awards, again another easy way to get a link back to your site. These are some of the best that I can think of and have used with great success in promoting my sites.
