how to deal with this situation?

hey friends last sunday i found that my younger brother start smoking . i felt very bad and told him to stop smoking , he promised me that he will not do it again but i dont believe. so please suggest me that should i tell this to my father or believe him?

Give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but pay attention for signs, particularly if he smells like smoke. Even if he says it is just his friends, I would tell your parents because its better to get him out of it now, hopefully before addiction has taken too strong a hold. And remind him that he will regret it later, and that it is expensive--a stupid waste of money!
